Android owners have been rebelling in the chance of having PS3 games running (to variabus degrees of success) on their phones since the RPCS3 emulator arrived on the system earlier this year. The newest version takes things to the next level by adding bluetooth controller support into the mix too, essentially making things much easy hooking your phone up to your TV or playing on the go.
The developer for the emulator is serious firing on all cylinders when it comes getting it up and running for users, and having the ability to hook up your favorite go-to Bluetooth Controller is a very nice touch, especially with auto-button mapping on some controllers.
It’s exciting to see the speed that this emulator is coming together, and thanks to Android Authoritywe know that the newest update has paved the way for game folder support and made the virtual pad better as well as squashing bugs. Power is key when it comes to emulating ps3 games, so you’ll need to be using the latest smartphones if you want to get bigger titles running smoothly on your device. Unfortunately, if you’re an apple user but have an old Android phone in a drawer from 6 years ago, then it’s not going to cut the mustard.
